CJCH

We attended the architecture exhibition for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award with both direct and indirect participation. The whole exhibition area was connected with our intentional “contamination by ecological experiment”.
As artists and curators, we were also attracted by a “naïve idea” of using solar energy as a power source for our installation.
We chose a primitive aesthetic code of subtle black supporting constructions for cabling and lighting. With this code, we walked around the exhibition while projecting its negative on the ceiling. Time to time, in cooperation with the exhibitor, we reflected this invisibly into other installations—steel desk supports, projected wall legs, pelmets and a landmark—a pylon in a place where independent power plant distribution meets with an outdoor solar power station.
